Dr. Backer pursued advanced specialty training and earned a Master’s Degree in Prosthodontics from Indiana University, further expanding her expertise in full-mouth rehabilitation, smile reconstruction, implant dentistry, and advanced restorative care.

Her commitment to education led her to serve as a professor at Indiana University, where she helped train future dentists while continuing to refine her expertise in comprehensive treatment planning and prosthodontics.

Throughout her career, Dr. Backer has remained committed to advancing the profession. She served as Clinical Director for one of the world’s leading implant organizations, collaborating with internationally respected clinicians and helping shape the future of implant and restorative dentistry.

A History of Excellence

Dr. Adriana Backer earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2007. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Dentistry in Prosthodontics at Indiana University, where she was honored with the prestigious John F. Johnston Society Award. Her academic contributions include published research in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Backer brings a diverse clinical background, including experience in pediatric and hospital dentistry, as well as humanitarian service in Venezuela. In Fort Lauderdale, she became a valued member of the ClearChoice network, where she served for eight years and achieved the highest distinction as a Clinical Director within this world-renowned organization.
